At PB Animal Adventures, the animal's welfare is the top priority. The handlers at PB Animal Adventures work to strict rules to ensure the animals remain safe and well. Should any of the animals appear to be stressed during the event; the animals will be removed from the event immediately. All of our animals are regularly health checked by Natterjacks Vets to ensure 100% happy animals.
We have public liability insurance for up to £1,000,000. We can provide the necessary documents when a booking has been made.
PB Animal Adventures are registered to bring animals listed on registration with Bournemouth Borough Council Animal Welfare Department.
All staff at PB Animal Adventures hold a standard check completed by the Disclosure Barring Service. Documents can be provided when a booking has been made.
PB Animal Adventures has a General Risk Assessment and a Specific Animal Risk Assessment that are reviewed monthly by the Managing Director of PB Animal Adventures Limited. It is standard for copies of both risk assessments to be sent to the person in charge of booking the event. It is the responsibility of the person in charge of booking the event to ensure those attending are aware of and have the risk assessments available to them when requested. The risk assessments outline what is expected by all parties attending the event.
PB Animal Adventures is not insured to allow children under the age of 5 years to handle the animals. PB Animal Adventures also does not permit pregnant women or those with compromised immune systems to handle the animals, to enable their protection from infections from the animals.
This all depends on what animals are already booked on the day and what animals are available. Please contact PB Animal Adventures with your query and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We ask that payment be made via bank transfer or by cheque prior to the event (cheque to be sent allowing at least 10 working days for the cheque to clear before the event). We allow a 48 hour period after booking the event for a form of payment to be received. Should we not receive any form of payment, the booking will be released for others to book if they wish. Schools and care homes often have to pay after the event or on the day. We ask that schools and care homes pay within 30 days of our visit.
